Welcome to Ask Emma. By booking an appointment or using my services, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions.Bookings
Appointments can be booked online or directly through Ask Emma.Your appointment is not confirmed until any required booking fee or payment has been received.Payments
Payment requirements vary depending on the service booked.Some appointments require payment in full at the time of booking.Some services require a non-refundable booking fee, with the remaining balance invoiced separately.Any outstanding balance must be paid before your consultation or before preparation of your personalised sleep plan begins.
Additional products, pump hire, travel outside the standard service area or extra agreed services may be charged separately.Booking Fees
Where applicable, booking fees are non-refundable.Booking fees secure your appointment time and cover administration and preparation undertaken before your consultation.If you reschedule your appointment with the required notice, your booking fee will be transferred to your new appointment.Cancellations and Rescheduling
Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 48 hours’ notice.Appointments cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, missed appointments or failure to attend may result in the loss of any booking fee or payment already made.Exceptions may be considered in exceptional circumstances at Ask Emma’s discretion.Home Visits
Home visits are available within the advertised service area.Please ensure a safe environment for the consultation. Ask Emma reserves the right to end or refuse a home visit if safety concerns arise.Additional travel charges may apply for locations outside the standard service area.Sleep Consulting
Sleep support is personalised to each child and family.While every effort is made to provide evidence-based recommendations, no specific outcome or timeframe can be guaranteed.Success depends on many factors including your child’s temperament, health, developmental stage, consistency of implementation and family circumstances.Parents remain responsible for deciding which recommendations they choose to implement.Lactation and Parenting Support
Recommendations are based on the information available during your consultation and current evidence-based practice.If concerns arise that require medical assessment or specialist input, you may be referred to your GP, paediatrician or other healthcare professional.Pump Hire
Breast pump hire is subject to separate hire terms, including bond requirements, hire fees and replacement costs for lost or damaged equipment.Hygiene requirements must be followed at all times.Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash.They may only be redeemed for eligible Ask Emma services before their expiry date (if applicable).Communication
Reasonable follow-up support is provided where included in your selected service.Messages and emails will be answered as soon as practical during normal business hours. Responses are not monitored 24 hours a day and should not be used for urgent medical concerns.Medical Emergencies
Ask Emma does not provide emergency medical care.If you are concerned that your child is seriously unwell, please contact your GP, attend your nearest emergency department or call 000 immediately.Privacy
Your personal information is collected, stored and managed in accordance with the Ask Emma Privacy Policy.Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, Ask Emma is not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of services or recommendations provided.Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law.Changes to These TermsThese Terms and Conditions may be updated from time to time. The most current version will always be available on the Ask Emma website.
